What is Local Business Schema?

LocalBusiness Schema markup is a type of structured data used on websites that provides Google with specific information about the running of a local business. This information is formatted in a specific way that is outlined in the Schema.org website guidelines, generally in a JSON-LD format. This information is easy for Google to read and index, helping local businesses appear in local search results on Google Maps.
