What is a Sidewide Link?

A sitewide link is a link (internal or external) that appears on every page of a website. The most common example that is found on most websites are the links in the header, menu navigation and footer.

Why are Sitewide Links Important?

Sitewide links help improve the user experience by providing shortcuts to the most important pages on a website. It makes it easier for users to quickly find key information, such as services, contact details, or blog content, regardless of where they are on the website.

Are Sitewide Links Good for SEO?

Sitewide links can be beneficial for SEO, but they need to be used wisely. While they help search engines understand the structure of your site and signal which pages are important, too many sitewide links (especially linking to unrelated sites) can be unnatural and are a red flag for search engines.
