Club Charlestown and Club Lambton needed a website experience that feels like the venues themselves. Welcoming, vibrant, and easy to navigate, with enough polish to match their scale and ambition.
With deep local roots and a huge range of offerings, from bistro dining and live music to bowls, functions, and community programs, both clubs wanted a modern platform that helps people find what they need fast and shows they are more than just a gaming venue.
Our Challenge
The existing site had grown over time as more areas and information were added, which made it feel clunky, especially on mobile. The brief was clear. Visitors should be able to find key information in two to three clicks, whether they are looking for events, dining, membership, raffles, or function details.
Another challenge was perception. Some people still assume a traditional club experience with outdated facilities, or that the venue is purely gaming focused.The website needed to reset that expectation and present the clubs as modern, family friendly, community driven venues with something for everyone.
Our Approach
We treated the website like a digital concierge. Clear pathways based on intent, backed by strong visuals and concise copy.
The structure focused on the most common tasks, such as booking a table, buying raffle tickets, joining as a member, viewing upcoming events, and making function enquiries. Content was simplified to keep the tone warm and straightforward, with emphasis on accessibility, family friendly features, and the clubs’ role in the community.
