Jodi Theisen is the Founding Director of Digital Nomads HQ. With a background in sales and business, and having started her first venture at 14, entrepreneurship is in her DNA. After a 10-year break to raise her two daughters, Jodi combined her passion for people, sales, and social media — and Digital Nomads HQ was born. Together with her husband Chris, the agency has grown steadily ever since.

Benjamin Paine is Digital Nomads HQ’s Managing Director. Benjamin is multi-award-winning businessman, having both acquired and established businesses. He now runs Digital Nomads HQ – a full-suite digital marketing agency. He is passionate about supporting local businesses in both marketing scale and operational insight. Being multi-disciplined in marketing, sales and operations it gives him a fantastic angle to provide extensive value to businesses. Originally from Bournemouth, United Kingdom, he migrated to Australia at 17 and settled on the Sunshine Coast in 2010. Today he is a vital component in the growth and strategy for Digital Nomads HQ’s success. He is also a dad to one newly born boy, a husband, and in his downtime loves spending quality time with his family at the beach!

Backed by a Bachelor of Digital Media, Hayden started his career with Digital Nomads HQ as an intern. Demonstrating an innate aptitude for leadership, communication and development, it didn’t take long for him to become the Head of Web Design & Development. Hayden leverages his extensive experience and creative mindset to think innovatively when designing concepts tailored to businesses across various industries. Hayden’s seamless integration of his passion for design and his technical expertise enables him to consistently deliver outstanding results. Hayden has taken the Web & Branding division to new heights – leading his team with the most incredible people-skills that need to be experienced to be believed. His clients have nothing but the highest praise for the way he directs projects to their ultimate creative & functional outcome. After hours, you will find him training 1000 hours a week on the road to his next Muay Thai fight and planning his wedding.

James is an accomplished digital and marketing executive with more than two decades of experience leading marketing and digital functions across Australia’s largest financial services, energy, health, technology start-ups, and membership organisations. He drives enterprise-wide digital innovation, customer experience evolution, and data-led strategic marketing initiatives, and has held senior leadership roles at ANZ, Suncorp, RACQ, AGL, Swisse, and Australian Unity. His career reflects deep capability in digital strategy, customer insights, eCommerce, performance marketing, and operational transformation, consistently delivering growth through customer-centric digital solutions and modernised marketing ecosystems. A strategic thinker who is comfortable advancing multiple initiatives at once, James is known for building high-performing marketing and digital teams and shaping roadmaps that align technology, data, and brand reputation. He has also served as an industry mentor and educator, sharing his experience in digital strategy and customer engagement with emerging leaders. Outside of work, James enjoys time at the beach, gardening, and lives for a Mediterranean holiday every few years.

Daniel is a digital marketing leader with more than 15 years’ experience in Australian agencies, delivering integrated digital campaigns, brand development, client management, and end-to-end project delivery. He has managed a diverse portfolio of clients across Queensland and nationally, known for his strong client relationships and client-first mentality. With deep capability across digital marketing, brand strategy, content and communication systems, and reporting, he helps businesses strengthen their brands, streamline marketing operations, and bring ambitious ideas to life with clarity and purpose. Recognised for balancing big-picture strategy with sharp attention to detail, Daniel confidently navigates competing priorities and keeps complex projects moving smoothly from concept to execution. His career has been shaped by collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences. A father of three, Daniel spends most weekends at the beach or exploring the bush with his kids, or surfing on one of the many Sunshine Coast beaches.

Todd utilises his years of industry experience and leading qualifications to apply strategic problem solving and analysis to all layers of applied digital marketing. With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and earning the Dean’s Award for Excellence, Todd strives to maintain a multi-faceted approach to achieving the highest level of detail and critical thinking. In line with the agency’s motto of applying insight from data, not opinions – Todd is Digital Nomad HQ’s stats and numbers guy! If you are looking for data-based strategy, you are in the right place! In stark contrast to his desk-based job, in his downtime Todd’s definition of a ‘quiet weekend’ involves, surfing, outdoor rock climbing and hiking. Never short of a sport-related injury, Todd lives life to the fullest and he brings that enthusiasm and joy to his role as Paid Media Specialist.

Mitch is one of Digital Nomads HQ’s Web Developers not to mention one of our OG team members from the early days of the agency. Specialising in creating responsive, high-converting websites, he maintains a strong focus on user experience and search engine optimisation. With expertise in UI/UX design, custom WordPress development, Shopify E-commerce, and server management, he’s dedicated to exceeding client expectations with innovative digital solutions. A little known fact about Mitch is his secret talent in creating Augmented Reality experiences – from business cards to vinyl LP animations – he is both a technical and creative whiz! When he’s not behind his desk screens, he’s a passionate musician with a talent for audio production and drumming. He enjoys hanging out with dog whose name is, wait for it… Haymitch!

Chanie-Marie Van Den Berg is one of our dedicated SEO Accounts Managers at Digital Nomads HQ. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Sciences, Chanie loves in-page design and copywriting, bringing a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to her role. Chanie’s commitment to excellence and growing skill set make her an invaluable asset to our client’s marketing efforts. Her start in digital marketing began with freelance projects in social media, design, and content creation, where she discovered her true passion for all things digital. As a South African resident, Chanie adds a global perspective to her work, ensuring our clients receive top-quality service. When Chanie is not working, you’ll find her immersed in a good book, savouring a cup of coffee, or spending quality time with her three dogs – Chunkie, Munchie, and Poppet.
