The Brief

After experiencing dissatisfaction with their previous provider and recognising the limitations hindering their online presence. Despite offering quality products and serving a diverse clientele, they found that their website wasn’t achieving the desired results in terms of attracting relevant traffic and converting leads. That’s why Outback Portable Buildings sought out our expertise to revitalise their SEO strategy and drive better results.

The Strategy

Overall out SEO strategy utilised a number of industry best practices aimed at improving visibility, driving targeted traffic, and ultimately, delivering tangible results aligned with their goals. This included:

Improving Existing Keyword Rankings

We conducted thorough keyword research to identify high-potential keywords relevant to Outback Portable Buildings’ products and services. Through targeted optimisation efforts, we aimed to boost their rankings on search engine results pages (SERPs) for these key terms and increase their visibility to potential customers.

New Page Creation

During our initial research, we identified a number of opportunities to target new, but still relevant, keywords. To capitalise on this opportunity, we developed a number of new pages that were designed to capture additional search traffic and expand Outback Portable Buildings’ online reach.

On and Off-Page Optimisation

Our SEO strategy included both on-page and off-page optimisation techniques to improve the website’s overall SEO performance. This involved optimising meta tags, headers, and content for relevant keywords, as well as implementing internal link building strategies to enhance website navigation and effectively distribute link equity throughout the site.

Enhanced User Experience

Many pages on the current website lacked a cohesive layout and intuitive navigation, resulting in a less-than-optima user experience. As a result, we revamped the page layout and design to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.

Strategic calls-to-action (CTAs) were implemented throughout the site to encourage lead generation, while contact forms were added to facilitate easy communication with potential customers. Utilising unique selling points (USPs), we were able to showcase Outback Portable Buildings’ brand credibility and superior product offerings to further enhance user trust and confidence.

We improved the overall navigation of the website, both in the main menu and footer, to enhance usability and accessibility for visitors. This included organising content in a logical manner and streamlining the navigation flow to make it easier for users to find relevant information.

External Authority Building

To further boost Outback Portable Buildings’ online authority and credibility, we implemented a number of external authority building strategies. This involved securing high-quality backlinks from reputable websites within the industry.

Sitemap Optimisation

Lastly, we optimised and cleaned up the website’s sitemap to ensure efficient crawling and indexing by search engines. This helped to improve overall website visibility and accessibility, ultimately contributing to higher rankings and increased organic traffic.

The Results

Through our strategic optimisation efforts, we saw significant growth across tracked rankings, with an average ranking for all terms reaching 23.2. This heightened visibility translated into securing top positions for key terms like “transportable granny flats,” “portable building,” and “portable granny flat,” solidifying their authority in the industry.

Additionally, our strategies led to a notable increase in impressions and the click-through rate (CTR), showcasing how our efforts enhanced visibility and engagement with Outback Portable Buildings’ online content.

Lastly, and most importantly, the uptick in organic conversions indicates that or on-page optimisation and page layout updates effectively captured the interest of visitors, leading to higher conversion rates and improved ROI!
